Deathbed Confession: Army Officer Saw Roswell Aliens.

Posted by Alex in Paranormal on July 1, 2007 at 4:23 pm

Lt. Walter Haut, the public relations officer at Roswell Army Air Field during the infamous Roswell UFO incident, left a sworn affidavit to be opened after his death. Last week, the text was released:

… the weather balloon claim was a cover story and that the real object had been recovered by the military and stored in a hangar.

He described seeing not just the craft, but alien bodies.

This would be amazing if this man was a credible witness, or if his claims were anything new.

Haut was the man who first claimed the debris was from a flying saucer to kick the whole thing off!

    If he was a crack-pot then, he's still a crack-pot in death.

I don't know if this will influence opinion - but he also set up a UFO museum (who presumably rely on UFO interest to make money).
