it is a common optical illusion called mild retardation that inhibits your mind's ability to absorb visual information that is unique and abnormal. it's what's preventing you from thinking that this is a bat. christ.

It's the same for me. According to where the wings, ears, and eye are, I feel like I should be able to recognize the face. What gives?

I keep staring at it and I'm still not seeing a bat. A wing, yes, an eye, and a giant ear...Just can't assemble them into one overall working picture of a bat. Weird.
