This was part of a display of barrel making tools, it’s a barrel header, used to force the head into a wooden barrel.

This is a a squeeg. This device was used by English policemen to affix their helmets before duty. The wearing of chinstraps was forbidden by order of the king in 1872 as he believed them to be a papal plot to ’silence the English state of law.’ So the ‘Bobbies’ leather helmets were fitted a size too small and were afastened to the lawmans head using this tool. It had a partner device called ‘popper’ to remove the helmet, though details of its construction are undocumented. It is rumored that it used a greased sausauge fixed to a foot pedal mounted on a chair with a hole in its seat.

Looks like a compressor used to bind a stack of newspaper or other papers together. Once compressed, you could then bind them, wrapping your rope, string, wire, etc.

I think it’s to attach lids to paint cans. You’d clip it to the bottom and tighten them down.

It looks like some kind of head screw. You put your head between the two pincers and screw down. It’s used for relieving pressure on the brain.

it’s used to hold a cover or somesuch on the top of a large barrel for transport purposes and/or to keep a lid on in stationary situations where internal pressure in the vessel might otherwise force the lid loose.

It’s an ice block carrier. The bottom prongs snag the ice and the twisting vice clamps the ice onto the holder. Then you can carry your block of ice away.
