Now this is dedication: four researchers at the Department of Food Science at Leeds University, UK, spent more than 1,000 hours (!) testing 700 variations of bacon butty (that’s bacon sandwich to us Yanks) to find the perfect one.

Then, they created a mathematical formula on how to create the perfect bacon sandwich. Hm…. bacon research…. Link – via Rashers and Eggs

    there's been a lot of research done that shows that people's taste buds are so different and their preferences so varied - that proves that people will just like different tastes and textures in their mouths, so there could be no perfect bacon sandwich. there's a TEDtalks about it...
