		<description>I actually had my lens replaced as a child about 15 years ago.  They removed my lens and replaced it with a glass lens.  I believe nowadays they use a better plastic lens.  

However, if you click to the link, that&#039;s not what this story is about.  It looks like they&#039;ve actually clipped a new lens to the front of this guys eyes.  It&#039;s kind of like wearing glasses without the hassle.  There&#039;s some neat up close shots at the link too.  Cool story!</description>

		<description>I had this done too!  It&#039;s called ICL (at least where I am) and it&#039;s fantastic for people who aren&#039;t candidates for Lasik due to thin corneas and other reasons.</description>
