The medium-sized oval dark green fruits are covered with pea-sized bright yellow “stars” and usually one larger “moon.” The fruits have sweet pink flesh and brown seeds. Foliage is also spotted.

They're actually pretty common at local fruit stands. I've grown them before and they really are green, not purple. The fruit is way sweeter than the "regular" variety of watermellons you get at the store.
