The Pi Mazda.

Alex Healy posted this picture of a model that should appeal to a mathematician. http://www.alexhealy.net.nyud.net:8080/images/pi/pi_small.jpg to larger photo. -via Reddit

Somehow I can see Homer Simpson driving that car!!!!

Creative! OTOH, I wonder what kinda geek the car owner must have been in order to do that. Choose one below:

( ) enginner
( ) mathematician
( ) engineer
( ) physicist
( ) engineer
( ) computer scientist

I really liked that!!!! Creative, subtle, and smart!

As a former student of molecular biology, I've always wanted a pair of vanity plates with the inscriptions:

Eco RI GAATTC

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

I guess you had to have been there.

As the proud geek that owns this vehicle, I can answer Simon's question: in college I majored in physics (at Caltech) but I was an engineer with a biotech company right after graduating, wandered over into cognitive psychology for my PhD (at Harvard), and I'm now doing a postdoc with an artificial intelligence group (at RPI). So more or less "all of the above", except I can't really claim to be a mathematician.

Cheers,
