Hours of Darkness: Photos of Modern Ruins.

Hours of Darkness has very cool photographs of modern ruins, taken at night for maximum creepiness, of course! This one above is of the Renwick Smallpox Hospital in Roosevelt Island, New York.

What's a UE'er? BTW, if you browse the web site, the artist of these photographs, Amanda C. Krieger, passed away after a year long fight with a tumor. She writes about it on her site. Makes her photographs even more haunting, and makes you feel for the hours of darkness she had fighting for her life.

UEing, is Urban Exploration, meaning a UE'er is a Urban Explorer, lol, basically, its exploring out abandoned facilities and tunnels
