I work in the Canadian advertising industry and I can tell you from experience the CRTC is mental. I once had a video game commercial almost banned because there was a 1/2 second shot of a character hitting another character with a snowball. Yes apparently we Canadians consider snowballs deadly weapons

I saw it last night – not pulled completely. Maybe not such a big deal after all.
I thought it was kinda dumb. Maybe a little too strong, but violent? Maybe they should have just shown a grown man being hit in the genitals – that seems to be okay for kids’ movies.

Not true. Just minutes ago, I saw this VERY ad on TV. I did think it was mighty violent, mind you. (I live in Toronto, and it was on Global [channel 3 for people with Rogers service]. It was in the break of The Apprentice.)
