Transfomer Transfiguration, a Suspicious Artwork.

By Alex in Arts & Crafts on Mar 31, 2007 at 12:26 pm

A fun contest at Worth1000: fine arts that somehow seems suspiciously like counterfeits! I continue to be amazed at how good these photoshoppers are!

This one above is "a suspicious copy" of The Transfiguration by Raphael [wiki]

Ah, Optimus...you'll always be in my heart. I can still hear you saying those words that soothe my soul, "Autobots...ROLL OUT!!"

    Ahhhh.... :)

How will you know if a painting is fake or real? Do you have any standard procedure in knowing counterfeit or suspicious artworks? If everybody is aware how to distinguish original from the imitation I’m pretty sure this will really help our fellow artists.
