Looks like the type of clamp used to hold diamonds whilst they are being polished.

I believe that would be an instrument of torture.

Its a clamp for the side of a table tennis table, to hold the net in place…or its what the gynaecologists use to examine……

or perhaps a banana clamp

I think it is a clamp used in the constuction of boats, to hold multiple pieces of wood together while gluing and fastening it together.

Looks like part of a book press, but it’s missing the plates to hold the book flat. It’s how you press fanned (from dampness) books back into shape!
