It’s a shame the woman in the back seat was born without legs.

Very similar to a number of 3-wheel motorcycle concepts.
Even GM made a great one similar to this that banks while the two rear wheels stay flat:

Never got produced because they are lawsuit machines. Lawyers would be lined up ready to sue the pants off the manufacturers for producing “unsafe vehicles”.

(would still love to have one…)

The above 3wheeler.com is a great site to see similar concepts..

No trunk space, my son would have to cram into the floorboard, and I’d have to have half my weight surgically removed and my skeleton dramatically altered, just to be a passenger.

Why is the future always so darn UNCOMFORTABLE?!

I don’t think it’s even safe! What happens if you get hit from the side?! Gah! You’d get plastered aaaaall over the other persons car!

There’s a reason that 3-wheel ATV’s were pulled off the market. What an unstable design.

No thanks, I choose to live through minor collisions. That thing would explode in anything over 1mph crashes. BTW, where is that lady’s legs? Maybe she lost them in a previous crash in that type of car? Wondering minds want to know. ;-)

Her legs are spread, they go either side of the driver’s seat. And it’s well designed with crumple zones to absorb impacts.

This is just a recycling of the carver, renamed and redesigned, I think its the same company although I can’t be sure. Anyway, this concept has been around since 2003, if not sooner. Check it out-> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carver_%28automobile%29
