This thing wouldn't survive a Canadian winter, and I have to wonder if it's heavy enough to withstand a strong wind or collision.

How about some 'green' cars that people outside of southern California can drive year-round?

Why do they always have to make these things all "futuristic"?
That's killing the hybrid industry more than the oil companies.
The first thing I wondered was where's the trunk space. The second thing was where's the people space?

Not to mention that the wheel housings appear to have about one inch of ground clearance; this thing wouldn't make it over a speed-bump, much less a real pothole.

Still, it looks neat, and 200 mpg is nothing to sneeze at.

It looks like one of those knobbly things you get at spa-supply stores, for massaging your back.

If only all our present cars are all environmental friendly we could have live a healthy life, and save much of our resources. Cars like this has to be supported. Though, I would mind driving a car with this type of design, and where is the door? How can a person fit in? How about the size of this car? Isn't it too bulky?

the first thing that comes to mind is universal design --- structuring things so all people can use them accessibly. i don't see how wheelchair users can comfortably get in this car as drivers or passengers. then again, i'm not sure what shape the openings are when you open the doors. or what angles the seats are at. just wondering...
