The suggestion that Heidegger dropped acknowledgment of Husserl from later editions of B & T _out of anti-semitism_ is just a complete lie. They had a personal and intellectual falling out. Husserl had issues with Heidegger's interpretation of the Lifeworld and of phenomenology, from what I recall.

Michel Foucault liked also very young people : he was for the removal of the age of consent law, which would have permitted any adult to have sexual relations to anyone below 15.

Nice.

Diogenes. He was searching for an honest man with a torch in broad daylight. That was raw philosophy.

Words themselves are the symbols of speech and thought which bind and entangle us...

[Diogenes, too, has always been my favorite of the ancient Greek philosophers. I've often fantasized about hanging with the captains of industry in a mid-downtown park somewhere plotting who I might befriend next for my next meal or which "female executive assistant" I might coax into a sexual escapade behind the bushes... but, oh well, maybe when I get old first! :)]

... And I remain intrigued by 2 equations in life:

Creation of Order = Initiation of Chaos

Playfulness = Joyfulness

Perhaps I enjoy just being a cynic at heart - especially when my thinking concerns "me" I understand I'm still dealing in illusion.

Jean Paul Sartre was very outspoken as a person and a philosopher. I think he turned down the Nobel Prize.
His major work "Being And Nothingness" pulls no punches while describing existence.

Diogenes was once seen "tossing off" in the marketplace. When confronted, he said "If only I could soothe my hunger by rubbing my belly."

WTF ?? just to ask a simple question like socrate, what is good or bad, and then apply this on humans... Didn't Nieztsche demonstrate that we can go beyond good and evil with our reason ?
