What is It? Game 14

By Alex in What Is It on Mar 8, 2007 at 3:01 am

Today’s collaboration with What is It? blog brings us this mysterious object: guess what it is and win a Free Neatorama T-Shirt!

Game rule is easy: leave your guess in the comment section (post no URL please, let others play). One more pic (and dimension info) at the What is it Blog?

Update 3/9/07: Here’s the answer:

Cap bombs, a paper cap is inserted into the opening and then the device is dropped on the ground to detonate it. The one on the right is Admiral Dewey.

Congrats to Kent #23 who got it right!

it’s one of those money purse-carrying fobs that asians used to wear when they had those kimonos and yukatas on or whatever. The string on those things is put on your belt, and then your purse could hang off of that by the purse strings.

They actually look something like bird calls. The parts are rubbed together to make a chirping sound. Maybe that’s why the guy’s face looks like a cat?
