You would usually find the A&#039;s on one shelf, but they would be arranged where the tallest books were on the end and the rest sloped down to the middle. Customers and booksellers alike had the devil of a time finding books. Ultimately they changed to a strict alphabetizing system.</description>

		<description>when i lived in the bay area, i went to this bookstore time and time again during this show... beautiful books, harmoniously arranged by color, and lots of cats. i was completely in heaven!</description>
