Engineered Fibre Structures Ltd has created something waaay cooler than the Wii: The Control Glove

The Control Glove is an innovative Engineered Fibre Structures development which has multiple applications across a range of sectors. It can be used to control computers, games consoles, machines and electrical and electronic devices and equipment. …

The Control Glove is activated and operated simply by the wearer and can send multiple commands via Bluetooth to the computer or device being controlled. It is made from a lightweight textile material with stretch, which makes it not only comfortable to wear, but allows the user complete dexterity when executing complex command sequences.

These have been rendered redundant even before they go into production… this system is more likely to be the one I would use and no doubt many others… imagine a virtual screen & these gloves :-O
