The ants who "hate" one another are different species and therefore don't work together. The ants who do work together are the same species ,and therefore, as near as one can judge these things, they don't hate one anothher. These different species co-exist -- neither wins, neither dies out -- but I wouldn't call that "working together." The “Ants ‘Hate Each Other’ But Work Together” headline is a little disingenuous.
