Nigerian Parrot.

Nigerian 419 letters are the scourge of the internet. Inboxes are flooded with requests for help in moving large sums of money which can only result in emptying the recipient’s wallet. Or it could result in comedy. Scammers sometimes run into "scambaiters", who try to outwit the scammer for fun. You’ll find lots of stories of scambaiting at 419 Eater. In the above scenario, a scambaiter convinced the scammers that they could win a cash film scholarship by recreating Monty Python's Dead Parrot sketch! Push play or go to YouTube. For comparison purposes, the original is on YouTube. Link to story. -via b3ta

Simple question here... how does the scambaiters know that the people in the video are in fact the scammers?

Maybe it's just a couple of guys the scammer filmed and he asked them to perform the task in question ( In this case the Monty Python’s Dead Parrot sketch ).

Im sure there are more worthy video out there to be posted. Keep searching.

Actually, on the site the scambaiter admits that they are probably not the scammer himself. However, hiring people to make the video ate a lot of his time that could have been spent scamming others.

This baiter is very good at getting carved items sent to him under the promise of around $25,000. He actually got this scammer to mail him a wooden bust of himself long before the video.
