Hang Time [wiki] was an American teen sitcom that aired from 1995-2000. The teen-oriented program aired on Saturday mornings on NBC as part of the network's TNBC morning block.
Similar to Saved by the Bell: The New Class, the show dealt with many of the issues that everyday teens are faced. During the series' run, the show addressed issues of dating, drug and alcohol use, racism, a character dealing with HIV discrimination and other school-related issues.
Unlike other teen-oriented shows, Hang Time also dealt with the pressures the Deering teammates felt due to all of their games coming down to buzzer beaters.
