Strange English Lesson in Japan: I Was Robbed by Two Men.

Posted by Alex in Video Clips on February 8, 2007 at 1:25 am

This went around the Internet a while ago: a weird video clip of an English language class in Japan. The topic is what to say if you’re robbed, and if that’s not weird enough, there’s even an exercise routine to practice the sayings.

There was another of these videos on Boing Boing last summer. Unfortunately, the video was taken down.

What's with the George Costanza look-alike with the bandanna on backwards??

Wow, that guy really did look like George Costanza! My dream job is to be the "Token Gaijin" in Japanese movies. Like the vaguely western cigar-chomping general in Godzilla movies who ignores the dangers of above-groung atomic testing.

"The Soup" on E! showed this a couple months ago during "Souper Fantastic Ultra Wish Time!", a segment where they show bizarre clips from Japan.

Thinly veiled soft-core porn. Interesting how the close-ups always headed straight for the women's breasts.

    Take anything you want? Indeed.

The best part was the elevator music playing while the women chanted "Spare me my life!"
