I have a bad hip and two bad knees, and I'm PRAYING something like this actually works. I have nightmares that six months after I finally break down and get all my joints replaced, they'll announce that they can repair cartilage with a pill or something.

I know of a little boy who was born missing an outer ear. They've tried twice to graft skin and make him one, but it failed both times. This would be the kind of structure that just might work for him!

Everyone in my family has bad knees, but I hate surgery! I'm just waiting for them to create a replacement knee that can be injected with no cutting. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that stem cells will enable this.

I'm not too picky ... I'd accept a magic pill that repaired all decaying bones and joints as well.
