Interesting (though shouldn’t the third one read “Mussolini, the Frustrated Author“?)

    What was George Bush?

A failed businessman. He was in the oil business before his company Arbusto went bust (surprise). He then was involved in a number of other ventures whose successes can be measured as an inverse of Bush’s actual involvement in operations.

What was Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez? Because now, after Congress gave him special powers to rule by decree, he can finally be considered a dictator.

This measure is supposed to last 18 months, but since he is the supreme ruler I guess in the 17th month he could simply modify it and decide that he will rule by decree for life.

I just hope he suffers a heart attack and dies one of these days.

You may not like his politics but George Bush is definitely NOT a dictator.

“When the Vietnamese came to the rescue and invaded Cambodia in 1979, Pot retreated to the jungle, though he continued to orchestrate guerilla attacks until his arrest in 1997.”

Vietnam invaded and occupied Cambodia for 10yrs.
They did not rescue or save any Cambodians.
All they did was start a new war and prolong the suffering of the Cambodian people. The Viets are actually responsible for half of the land mines laid in Cambodia.Vietnam is the backer of present day evil, murderous Hun Sen regime in Cambodia

What do you mean Bush isn’t a Dictator? He stole two elections, he rules by decree (signing statements) and he asserts the power to do whatever he wants as our “commander in chief”

If that’s not a Dictator then what is?

According to the book “Behold a Pale Horse” (the author’s name escapes me) While George Bush Sr. was in office, he got congress to pass a law giving the office of President the authority to pass what are called “Executive Orders”. These orders have all the enforcement of a law, without having to have congressional approval. If that’s true, then technically we’ve had dictators ever since.

Ricky, Executive Orders have been around since George Washington’s day. They’re simply orders from the president to officers in the executive branch as to how they should carry out the laws passed by Congress. A necessary action because all laws have certain levels of ambiguity. Congress can, and does, override executive orders by revising statutes and the courts occasionally find executive orders illegal or unconstitutional.

Behold a Pale Horse, written by William Cooper, is described by Amazon as:

The author, former U.S. Naval Intelligence Briefing Team Member, reveals information kept secret by our government since the 1940s. UFOs, the J.F.K.. assassination, the Secret Government, the war on drugs and more by the world’s leading expert on UFOs.
    Product Details

    Hm…. I wouldn’t call that highly reliable. :)

Ricky, here’s a list of Executive Orders signed by current and past presidents: Link.

As you can see, it went well before George HW Bush.
