   So many were left out in favor of notoriety. Hotel California? puhleeze. How about Yngwie Malmsteen’s Icarus Dream Suite? or Blue Sky by Duane Allman?

   I agree with Johnny Cat. Seems like it’s a 50% list of great solos that take lots of talent (e.g. Eddie Van Halen), and popular stuff that new guitar players can learn (Stairway). Fun to watch the videos though!

   Not guitar, but:

   How about T.Monk walking up to the piano on stage. Sitting. Planting one note with a finger. Letting it resonate on into silence, then standing up and lifting a large vase filled with water and flowers and smashing it down apon the piano beneath. Walking off stage and leaving behind a true electric solo.
