Wordless Pancake Recipe.

How do you communicate ideas without language? Say, for instance, how would you give directions on making pancakes without using words? Take a look: Wordless Pancake Recipe [Flickr]

Oops, looks like they forgot to get rid of numbers as well. A Roman wouldn’t understand 3x

And you’d better hope your pantry is full of boxes with English labels.

For a better understanding of my earlier comment, follow the link. Though, seeing how poorly I’m communicating with words, maybe she didn’t do a bad job after all.

    Hi there,
I am the creator of this work, and unfortunately it’s been taken out of context.

This version is quite old and rather out-moded, the visual language has improved by great lengths since this version.

The work was not necessarily intended to be used across multiple languages, though I ma in the process of developing the project commercially and we are looking into cross-language communication.

If anyone has comments or suggestions (or would like to be placed on a mailing list for when the commercial site is launched) please email me:
