Polar Bear Eats an Apple “Popsicle”.

Apples in ice

This ice block filled with apples provide the bear with both amusement and sport (plus it makes his teeth grow stronger). The zoo trainers leave this big blocks of iced food to change the environment and to make the animals play:

We also provide our polar bear with enrichment, or stimulation to her environment. This is accomplished by introducing new objects into her exhibit, scatter feeding, and placing objects in her pool. Examples of this are giving her fish or fruit pops (ice with food frozen in it), giving her large objects to interact with (barrels, logs, tubes, balls), or scattering treats throughout her exhibit. These activities give her both mental and physical stimulation. Visitors also have a chance to see hunting, swimming, and other behaviors that are natural to polar bears

    Wouldn’t that technically be more like a popsicle though? I mean, ice cream is by definition creamy (to some degree at least) whereas popsicles are just frozen, flavoured, liquid.

    I think you can rip off a shark’s eye and a cat would still eat it because it smells like food.

    That’s fruit. I’m sure that the first times they gave me apples I didn’t knew they were apples at all… It’s fruit and somehow in our genetical info is stored the good and bad of the smells and tastes…

    The bear doesn’t care, eats fruit.

    Round here some bears got killed by humans being fed with artificial sponges with honey on them… They swallow them in a piece and it packs tight to their vias :( … But it smelled soooo well…

    Do you think a polar bear know that seals are seals before he eats them? or they are just food-composed-things… Tasty bloody meat…

    I mean that nobody is that stupid to belive that a man gave name to all the animals in the begining… or the like…

    I can’t belive that you’re so dumb… So just think of it for a while… Animals can’t speak… They don’t care about words like “apple”.

    Polar bears are the only bears that eat 100% meat. Why would they want apples. Also who is the dirty jew that froze them in a foot of ice. Teasing bears is mean. Also I herd u leik mudkips?
