That’s a great series of shots. The crazy thing is that somehow the truck went through the rail, got turned around, jumped the drainage ditch and didn’t…well…I won’t spoil it for anyone….great set of pics.
no, wah…
richard scarry was driving the truck…
anyone? a richard scarry reference? anyone?
I think Kuanes is referring to the famous children’s book author Richard Scarry.
I originally wrote “Close Call at the Scarriest Car Accident Ever,” note the typo on the word “scarriest” which brought about this whole Richard Scarry thing.
*jaw slack*
Just thinking about it…gives me nightmares…

Call me skeptical, but…
If it were really that high up, why don’t the paramedics appear to be exercising more caution?
Are they that reckless?
Something fishy about this picture.
ok, ummm, Jennifer. How in the HELL did you find richard scarry pics on rotten.com???????????
i agree with the skeptics-it looks photoshopped to me. look at the position of the fence in the first and third picture-it seems weird. and just as #1 (Wah) said: how did he flip 180 degrees through the rail like that?
I’m no expert but the rocks on the cliff face in the third picture look fishy too. And I agree with #11 (ted) about the paramedics. Surely they would fasten themselves to the railing in case something happens?
Plus I doubt that even the gutsiest photographer would balance themselves precariously on the other side of the canyon to snap photos of a random car accident.
1. Can anyone tell where that happened? Sagebrush suggests western North America — but beyond that?
2. Who took the photos. Credit should be given to the photographer. Can anyone tell where Mustang World got the shots?
3. Not even Snopes has much on this. Are these real photos?
