If I remember, it was this past weekend or earlier in the week that Discovery Channel was showing some shows on extreme surgery which featured a young girl with a bad spine as well as a guy who had a very extreme case of vascular growth (a port-wine stain that covered the whole left side of his face, poor chap).

So, in retrospect, I’m pretty thankful I don’t have the same kinds of problems as people who have this affliction. I’m encouraged by their eagerness to getting on with life and living it as “normally” as they can.

I want to see the “after surgery” picture of him, to find out how much has changed. Face reconstruction surgery has come a VERY long way.

However his face looks, I hope he finds a wife who loves him for who he is, not what he looks like.

That sucks for him. But lion? Have you SEEN a lion?

I am going to hell for saying this but he could probably get a decent job as extra in movies like ‘Lord of the Rings’.

Wow – that’s quite remarkable! The article goes on to say that he had just gone surgery to correct the abnormality, and that he’s now looking for a wife. Really.
