The guy who orginally designed and manufactured the mudflap girl image is Bill Zinda, he owned a steel pattern fabrication company and made emblems for trucks.  I was the model for the original image 30 years ago.  That&#039;s a long time for any image to last. It has always amazed me to see how far this icon has gone.
