That some cheap coke I might add … I bet someone cut it with baby powder or baking soda.
That was before it became a “controlled substance.” I’ve even seen ads for cocaine tooth drops for kids.
I’m just havin fun .. I know it was an ad probably based around the early 1900s. I’ve also seen cocaine tooth drops … oh how they numb the gums, hahaha.
Cure for dandruff, I’m sure! Lose all your hair and dandruff goes away. Worst case, a few drops of this and you forget all about your dandruff.
Notice that it says “cocoaine,” not “cocaine.” This was because cocaine was very popular during this period as a medicinal cure-all. Burnett’s actually used coconut oil, not cocaine, but gave it a similar name as to trick shoppers into buying it.

Scroll down to where it talks about Burnett’s Cocoaine. Glad you found it interesting!
