Adriana Bertini’s Condom Dress.

By Alex in Fashion, Pictures on Dec 5, 2006 at 9:39 pm

Brazilian artist Adriana Bertini took thousands of quality-control-rejected condoms and turned them into dresses and skirts! These colorful clothes were shown at the "Dress Up Against AIDS: Condom Couture," an exhibition at UCLA’s Fowler Museum.

in my opinion i think these dresses are really effective, her reason for constructing these fabulous dresses was to reduce the stigma of HIV/AIDS. They are a peice of art work not necessarily for people to wear them out and about. Condsidering her reason for making them, i don’t think it is anything to make a joke out of.
