The Antikythera mechanism was made in the first years of the first century b.C. by the Romans.

    Well, seems that it had a complete drainage system and the water from their aqueducts could be redirected to the arena so it could be completelly filled and there were naval battles among gladiators reviving glorious past battles of Rome against their enemies 8·
