Pinetop Perkins with Seventh Hour Blues editor and publisher, Anthony Sapienza:

For the December issue of Seventh Hour Blues, Sapienza spent twenty- four hours with the 93 year-old blues legend. Perkins, who once worked on a plantation for fifty cents a day, rose to fame as one of the legendary blues piano players of his time — playing with such greats as Honeyboy Edwards, Robert Lockwood Jr., Sonnyboy Williamson and most notably, the great Muddy Waters. Here, Pinetop and Sapienza perform an impromptu version of Pinetop’s hit song, “Kansas City”.

That’s just ridiculous. Leave that poor old man alone! Stop singing at him, and please stop calling that a “performance” of his.

    Hey Steve,

Why don’t you mind your fucking business and go play with your foreign grocery products before we come over to Montara and stick a Chinese banana tree up your ass!
