You’ve heard stories about cats who fall from great heights and survive. The highest recorded fall for a surviving cat was 45 stories! How do they do it? According to an article at Damn Interesting, its a combination of factors, including the cat’s ability to land in its feet, a decrease in drag, and relaxation. Relaxation? Together, it’s called High-Rise Syndrome. Link
