Cool Concept Car: Nissan Pivo.

OddPeak has a nice list of 10 coolest concept cars. This one is Nissan Pivo, with a passenger cabin that revolves 360 degrees thus eliminating the need to go in reverse (previously on Neatorama here).

    Hey, if you lived in Japan, you would know why this car was invented. Land (and thus road space) is at a premium. Some roads can only accomodate one car, so if two cars meet, someone has to back up until they find a spot to ease over into, which can be quite a challenge with cement walls and deep ditches all around you. Everyone is taught to back in to parking spaces so their car is always facing out. I’ve seen many a person hanging out their driver’s side door going in and out trying to get their car in straight. Many cars also come equipped with cameras in the rear and a TV screen up front to guide you into parking spaces. This car would sell like hot ramen on a cold day.
