Wired's Very Short Story.

Wired Magazine wrote that Hemingway once wrote a story (his best, he said) in just six words ("For sale: baby shoes, never worn"). So they asked sci-fi writers to do the same. Here are some of the gems:

Longed for him. Got him. Shit.
- Margaret Atwood

We kissed. She melted. Mop please!
- James Patrick Kelly

Don’t marry her. Buy a house.
- Stephen R. Donaldson

Cryonics: Disney thawed. Mickey gnawed. Omigawd.
- Eileen Gunn

Leia: "Baby's yours." Luke: "Bad news…"
- Steven Meretzky

Link | Quite a bit more, some very clever, at Metafilter.

Margaret Atwood writes one anti-male dystopian novel, and she's classed as a sci-fi writer?
And there she goes bashing men in her six-word blurb.

I liked the Luke & Leia one.
