Robot Can Cook Chinese Food!

Posted by Alex in Everything Else on October 21, 2006 at 10:19 pm

AIC (short for "Artificial Intelligence Cooking") is the world’s first cooking robot that can complete all the cooking skills used by Chinese chefs:

At the demonstration at the high-tech fair, a demonstartor opened AIC’s door, which is shaped like a refrigerator’s door, and put into a box of seasoned ingredients.

He closed the door and selected "Kung Pao Chicken," a Sichuan dish with chicken cubes, peanuts and dried peppers, from the instrument panel.

Four minutes later the dish was done and an attractive smell wafted out of the machine. Visitors tried the dish, many surprised by its vibrant taste.

Somewhat ridiculous. Mostly; The creators wants to replace all chefs by 2007? In China? Wow, that must be great for the wlefare of many HUMANS who need to make a living.

    WHAT HAVE YOU MADE?
AND, WHO HAS GIVEN YOU THE AUTHORTY TO POST SUCH UGLY COMMENTS OF YOURS ABOUT OTHERS' HARD WORK?

Let me answer your question: Those HUMANS (chefs) should learn to make robots instead, if they have enough brains to do that!

Are you pro-chefs & anti-engineers? Those guys (scientists/engineers) are also working hard to make the robotic-cooks in order to make our life easier (by using their brains and knowledge & by doing research), and in turn they are also making a living!
The robot-industry will also generate additional jobs in the software & hardware industry/plastic industry, etc.

So, instead of just commenting ("Somewhat ridiculous.” see above), why don't you work hard to learn to make robots/high-quality computers instead? Only then you'll come to know how hard it's to make such machines, and you'll realize about the cost of labor, time, and research-work that goes into making such sophisticated machines (I suppose, you won’t be able to learn about their basic machinery).

    And, YOU’LL REALIZE YOUR WORTH!

Think twice before you write such comments ("Somewhat ridiculous.") about the sincere & dedicated hard work of others.

Don’t you use any machines in your home (like refrigerators, computers, etc.). If yes, why don’t you use old-fashioned methods like inquiring with humans for information, instead of using PCs and the Internet?

And, why don't you write your real name (are you called 'Shadx' by others in real life.) on such posts. It's so COWARDLY not to write your real name. At least, you should write your first name on such posts.

Do you want to see the chefs having a great hourly-income, but those scientists/engineers unemployed, huh?
