This takes me back ten years or so, to when I was living in Bryn Mawr, PA and occasionally visited a used-record store called Plastic Fantastic Record Exchange. They had two resident cats, one black and one tabby.

The black cat would occasionally climb up on customers' shoulders while we were bent over going through the bins. He was amazingly adept at staying on your shoulders without digging his claws in when you stood up straight—one day he sat on my shoulders for at least an hour.

The cats alone were worth the visit, and I'm sure the owners knew it. Go to visit the cats, stay to buy records!

I don't think there was even one techno piece. You need to get your genres right: http://www.neatorama.com/2006/08/30/guide-to-electronic-music/

How come all of these cats only like different types of techno music. Cats apparently lack taste... Except that Classical cat, he was just a douche-bag.
