		<description>I dissent, this doesn&#039;t look like a cockroach (of the Orthopteroid orders) but more like a true bug of the order Hemiptera.  
One does not typically see the head of a cockroach from the dorsal view, as it is usually obscured by the pronotum.  And cockroachs don&#039;t have hemelytra (the X on the back).

Sorry I can&#039;t get you any closer than &quot;long-horned bug&quot;.   suborder Gymnocerata.</description>

		<description>This specimen appears to be a variety of cockroach (&#039;maengda&#039; in Thai).  It is immature, as his posterial armor has not yet fully grown to shield the rear of his body from being bitten or stung.

IMO, the only good cockroach in Thailand is a dead one.</description>
