    I hate to be the one to say it, but no way is that parrot making those noises. It's just someone beatboxing and, uh, beaksynching.

    MisterTrilby, mimicry of birds can be quite strange. For example, lyrebird can mimic the calls of 20 other bird species, and other non-bird sound like camera shutter, car alarm, chain saw, etc. See:

    No it really was making those sounds (with it's human friend joining in)

    The bird is an african gray which are AMAZINGLY clever.

    If you search for talking parrots on youtube you'll see what I mean.
