Nice guy ? neat guy ? what a load of crap. He kept harassing dangerous animals. He ASKED several times to be killed. Funny thing is some harmless creature killed, him. There is no price for guessing how much he taunted that animal to do that to him. I'm glad the animal world got back to him. What comes around ...

Before I remark on the emotionally and mentally unbalnaced man who laughed and laughed first I'd like to say may Steve rest in peace and God bless his family. Eventhough his death was unexpected and tragic I'm sure he would have rather left this world doing what he loved as oppose to a car wreck or shooting or something like that. RIP Steve. Now.... to the heartless, unstable, monster who laughed and laughed, your karma will be immense. I feel sorry for the way your end will come cuz it won't be quick and pretty. It will be some super embarrassing, painful way that will leave the whole world cracking up. No one will pitty it. It will just be something that comedians crack jokes about that will leave the entire stadium roaring with laughter and your family and friends (if u have any) will have to watch and listen as people take pleasure in your pain.

I don't know if anyone has even thought about this or not...but, I believe when it's our time to "go" it's really not going to matter where we are or what we are doing when it happens....God only knows. If Steve Irwin hadn't been in the ocean with a stingray...he could have been just sitting on the beach or at home sitting at the dinner table and died. When your time is up...it's up. God is in control of our lives, not a stingray. Steve Irwin will be sadly missed by all...except the heartless moron "ImNoMrNiceGuy" who will one day reap what he has sown!

THIS IS DEFINETELY A TRAGIC INCIDENT THAT WE ALL WILL REMEMBER. STEVE DID SO MANY WONDERFUL THINGS FOR THE CREATURES OF THE WORLD, AND OUR ENVIROMENT. HE WAS A TRUE CONSERVATIONIST AND I ADMIRE HIS WORK, HE PUT HIS WHOLE LIFE INTO MAKING THE LIVES OF ANIMALS BETTER BY EDUCATING THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD. To the alleged "ImNoMrNiceGuy": (please rephrase that to "ImaJustaDumbGuy") Laughed and laughed and laughed? What an absolute twit! Are you mentally ill or just some dim-witted teenager looking to toss a little shock value into the mix? Steve's death was a tragic loss to his family ... yours would be a favor to mankind. Steve was a thoroughly devoted husband and father doing what he loved the most: working with animals and attempting to remove the fear and mystery of creatures society has demonized over the aeons. A "crazy" man he was not ... reckless he was not ... his beginnings was with reptiles and he, from a terribly early age, was taught well how to properly respect AND handle them. It was sensational to those unfamiliar, but reckless it was not. Yes, his show and "business" demanded that he continue to push himself outside the envelope of handing crocs and snakes (which is why a humble little reptile hospice ultimately became a fully fledged animal santuary and "zoo"). Yes, he put himself in harm's way, but knowingly so as an educated handler. His wife, she was also experienced and was along by his side, but not PUT in harm's way, you useless, rotting wad of human phlegm ... and his son, that was one camera angle and a bunch of media ninnys (mindless, soul-less morons such as yourself) who capitalized on an opportunity to sensationalize. I hope you smoke a turd in hell, "ImNoMrNiceGuy."

To laugh and laugh at the death of somebody who contributed so much to environmental causes is sad. He may have put his life in danger - but doing so created an audience for him to put out his message. You laugh because he died by a blow from an animal - though reality is, he died doing something he loved. It's sad that most of the world will die from sitting on the couch watching TV doing nothing - and those who do something and die because of it get scrutinized by those lazy, apathetic people.

Steve was a very positive influence to me and my son Tyler-Lee. Most of what my young son and I learned about reptiles, was do to this great man "Crocodile Hunter". I truly believe with all my heart that he knew exactly what he was doing with Robert and would have had enough reaction timing to pull his son out of any true danger. Our next large python will be a male and named after Steve, keep exploring and teaching in the after-life. Terri and family,, it is a very sad sad day. but know that there is enough of his memory in each and all of us that have watched his show's and movie, that he will forever be a TRUE ICON and LEGACY. to hell with those of you that laughed. This is a man who lived life to the fullest. What attracted people to him wasn't as much his crocodiles as it was his incredible energy and joy in life - he made the rest of us FEEL half dead.

I'm sad, very sad, that his life is over way before it should be, and very sad for his family, but I'll always remember him with a smile and so will most of the world; what more could any of us ask?

I've been a watcher of his show since I was little and it's really sad to see him die, but at least he died doing what he loves...I feel horrible for Terri, Bindi and Bob, but I hope they continue to run his facilities. He did a lot for animals, even if he did do foolish things sometimes.

Anyone that would laugh and laugh and laugh over the tragic death of someone has some serious mental and emotional problems. Steve Irwin did a lot of things that the general public would consider dangerous or even crazy. Maybe you don't agree with some of these things, but it sounds like the world could use more people like him, than people that take delight in another's tragedy. Heartfelt condolence to his family. May he rest in peace.
