Unfortunately Marv was a good guy but he was NOT a hero. He didn't just try to bull doze specific people's businesses, he also shot at the large propane bullets in town repeatedly which(if they had exploded) could have caused many deaths. Too many times Americans try to make hero's out of crazy people. He ruined a lot of people's lives in that town and took his own in the process... He also ruined many people's businesses that were innocent of having anything to do with him or his property. Was that really worth it? There are better ways of handling things. When the government can take your business and your property for whatever they decide is for the greater economic good, we all lose. Building necessary infrastructure is one thing but taking from one business owner for the good of another is UNAMERICAN. This is not freedom, this is tyranny. That being said, Marvin Heemeyer was completely wrong and his actions bordered on insanity. No winners. Everybody a loser. How sad and tragic for all involved.
