Neatorama reader Amanda Jeffrey introduced us to steampunk [wiki] is a form of speculative fiction, kind of like what the future would be like if robots and machines still use steam engines as power source.

This one above is from IDW’s The Transformers: Evolution, with Guideo Guidi’s illustrations of Transformers in steampunk.
