These cats are amazing. Whenever people would meet my cat Thimbles they would say he was the fattest they had ever seen. When he was a kitten the vet said to return him to the pound because he was so sick he was going to die. We sure fixed that! He lived a very nice life eating mice and sleeping by the heater.

If you knocked him over he would get stuck.

como pueden maltratar de esa forma a esos animales, ese animal es un animal enfermo, no es lindo ver asi un gato, no es saludable, esta enfermo y los gatos obesos sufren multiples patologias debido a la repidez con q su higado se vuelve graso. es un horror q hayan personas q crien a sus animales de esta manera tan irresponsable y agoísta solo xq creen q es un juguete gracioso, estan matandolo!

uuuuuhhhhh....... guys,it's true. Y'all are feedin' yer cats a teensy bit to much food.still, fat putties r heelarious. Ro, I've got a fat cat (previously owned) too that eats a whole much, then throws up. All she used to eat was science diet. She got fatter. Got a solution? tell me. She eats a moderate amount, but I think it's the fact that she eats so fast.....june, your goal in life is to see how much heart disease you can give a cat? DUMBO!!!! My kitten weighs 17 pounds and is still only 11 months old he is a noisy cat but loves me to death and no one else he sleeps alot cant jump far or high you can see his pink stomach through his fur and when you hold him and jump his stomach shakes like a shaker boom boom boom.he is the tiger.he purrs up a storm i love him

The reason I read this website, is because I have a few very large cats, Not because I overfeed them, but for some reason, they are huge, I feed them 2X a day, I have 6, 3 are extremely huge, but they are loved alot, happy, and in good health, so ya all dont blame the owner on stuffing them, Im not sure why, nor did my vet give me an answer as to why these fuzzballs are so big, I just love them up. Health is good, I guess its just genetics, just like us humans.

Lighten up people! Do you realize how lucky a cat is to have a home?!! And be fed to their hearts content?!! These cats have very enviable lives and very enviable "problems." I love how the nanny state is now going after fat cats! They just won't quit until the state regulates everything! If you really want to get upset for these precious cats and dogs, go after the "humane" societies that insist on killing them and making a profit from that, no matter how much money and space you give them.
