I have a fat cat named Blitzen. He is my baby. He is a orange male cat. It’s so funny because he’s got this huge body but he’s got these little paws. He weighs about 20 pounds. I love fat cats, but im am also very careful. I would rather have a average weight cat, then have a fat one with health problems. Blitzen makes it almost impossible to go on a diet. He’s fat AND throws up. If i dont keep his food bowl full, then when i do fill it he will eat to fast and get sick. I just dont know what to do.

these are some of the fattest cats i have ever seen in my entire life. But there are a few that ive seen that would fit right in with this website. I had my own little (little)? “Fat~Kitty” as my niece would call him… His name was Amos, and he had to be put to sleep last July. He was a whopper as an adult, and got sick about 2 years ago. He lost almost 75% of his weight after falling ill. But prior to having renal and lung problems, he was always active and fast; even with his massive body. Mice and birds did not stand a chance. Wish there was a place to include his picture on here…
I think, much like us humanoids, many cats are just prone to be ‘ahem’, larger, than others. He was neutered as a young cat. But his ‘uncle’ was not. They were both huge kittys! And are both now waiting for us at that “Rainbow Bridge”
When he was put to sleep, he was 13 years old. Not a bad life for a fat cat!

Please do not intentionally hurt a cat (or any animal) this way. That would be a terrible, (and an absolutely unforgiveable), cruelty imposed upon the poor cat.
Our cat was fat. We did nothing to encourage this, and even when he ‘dieted’ he would just catch more birds/mice to make up for those calories. This was his own genetic make~up, and to try to impose this on a cat whose DNA does not support this would be an absolute sin, and would only make the animal suffer needlessly.

Granted some are deceased due to their weight problems, but most of the rest aren’t. Those are cute. i had a “fat cat” once. you have to be really careful. We couldnt get her to lose weight…she kept gaining no mater what she turned out to be diabetic. we had to give her insulin shots twice a day for 5 years until she finally passed away. just to warn all…… BE CAREFUL of your pets!!!

The reason I read this website, is because I have a few very large cats, Not because I overfeed them, but for some reason, they are huge, I feed them 2X a day, I have 6, 3 are extremely huge, but they are loved alot, happy, and in good health, so ya all dont blame the owner on stuffing them, Im not sure why, nor did my vet give me an answer as to why these fuzzballs are so big, I just love them up. Health is good, I guess its just genetics, just like us humans.

These cats are amazing. Whenever people would meet my cat Thimbles they would say he was the fattest they had ever seen. When he was a kitten the vet said to return him to the pound because he was so sick he was going to die. We sure fixed that! He lived a very nice life eating mice and sleeping by the heater.
If you knocked him over he would get stuck.

these cats have there own rights me and my sister know that it isnt good to be fat and it hurts even though we arnt over 80 pounds but they are loved and god will take then like he takes us when it is time for us to die. they should still be loved and if they want to eat that way then let them its not your body so why do you care so how about you take your crappy thoughts some where else
