does this mean we could all be enjoying eternal lightbulbs (if they wuz made the ol’ fashioned way) but some jackass would rather make a dime (and make waste) selling us mortal ones ?

It means that Shelby Electric Company happened to produce a perfect lightbulb — an achievement that probably won’t be repeated in our lifetime.

It’s also only a 4-watt bulb…. The filament is probably way thicker than that, so the bulb has been running at a fraction of its capacity.

I am very proud of this bulb since my great great grandfather prof. Adolphe A. Chaillet invented the bulb.
