Fish with a Human Face.

The owner of this Korean fish started to notice that its face have begun to look more and more human over the last couple of years. (via Underwater Times)

    Koi carp with this sort of 'face' made up of colouring and shadows on their snout are known as "jinmengyo" in Japan. ("Jin"=person, "men"=face, "gyo"=fish)
    I've found that it's often the golden ones with black shading that have a face like this.

    I suppose it was selective breeding that brought upon this trait in Koi.

    Fascinating.

    However, I just can't believe that's not a photoshop job. It just reminds me too much of the fish scene in Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life":
