Netsuke: Original Japanese Man-Purse!

Netsuke is a Japanese miniature sculpture popular during the Edo period (1615 – 1868). This sculpture actually serve a practical purpose: since traditional Japanese male garments have no pockets, they serve as purses for money, tobacco, or medicine.
