Stevie Famulari’s Jelly Bean Lawn.

By Alex in Art, Pictures on Feb 3, 2006 at 1:47 pm

From the website:

‘Lawn takes the comfort of the grassed yard and updates the media to dirt and grass jelly bellys, which are named and event taste of dirt and grass. This comforting retro-landscape takes on a twist when the lawn is made of an edible medium, and not able to be walked on.

For other edible & chocolate arts, see Stevie’s aptly named website: Sugart.

I’m flattered that my art is in your blog. Lawn was a particularly interesting project- questioning the traditional lawn, and making a new one which is entirely consumable (in one sense).
The latest works focus on greening indoors, vertically, and redefining indoor/outdoors.
