Our electricity went out the other night b/c of a thunder storm, and we played with my camera and some glow sticks we had. The trick to spelling words, we learned, is to go as slowly as possible, and still beat the shutter. (you have to use a super slow shutter speed ~ six seconds was working well for us to shoot small words. Anyway, this is something anyone can do, as longas you have manual control of your camera, and it makes electricity outages go by quickly! : )
